Meet Su Ching
Su Ching finds much fulfilment in helping professionals unfold deeper meaning in their work and lives, and in unlocking realisations that move them forward.
With two decades of legal experience at the Supreme Court, Attorney-General's Chambers, and the Ministry of Law, she brings lived understanding and a keen ability to ask meaningful and incisive questions to her coaching practice. Combining attentive listening with the heart of a coach, she walks alongside individuals to deftly draw out the crux of their personal challenges and takes them on a journey of deep inner work — so that they can flourish from the inside-out and make an impact where it truly matters.
Lim Su Ching is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), an Associate Coach with Lifeforming Leadership Coaching, an Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre and holds an LL.B (First Class Hons) and LL.M. She is advancing towards her Professional Certified Coach credentials with the International Coaching Federation.
My Story
As a mother of two who spent two decades as a lawyer in the Singapore Legal Service, I faced a familiar challenge encountered by many professional women — grappling with what it means to flourish whilst juggling professional and home responsibilities.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, I was already playing the role of a de facto life coach to those around me. I would often find opportunities to speak life and encouragement to my friends and colleagues. Sharing in their joy of unlocking new perspectives that are deeply resonant with them or seeing their fresh resolve to move forward in what mattered to them was always a bright spark in the midst of a busy workday. The positive impact these conversations had on others fuelled a growing realisation within me – that my passion lay in the transformative power of genuine, heart-to-heart conversations. It was these moments of connection and empowerment that led me to reflect on the profound impact I could have as a professional life coach and emboldened my decision to transition from the legal world to the realm of coaching.
My journey is a testament to the belief that we can choose a path aligned with our values and faith.
